Main Season Market & Brewery is located at 39 State St., just off South Main Street. The new specialty market focuses on products that are “for locals. By locals.” Owners Walter Kaelin and husband-and-wife team Daniel Bryant and Ellie Goldstein opened the new business on March 26.

“We are a market that is focused on showcasing local goods and vegetables and in the process of getting a brewery up and running,”

In cooperation with Small Holding Farm, the couple grows lettuce, radishes, turnips and cabbage, as well as seasonal fruits and vegetables. The farm also has free range chicken eggs, mushrooms, herbs and flowers. The produce has been served at Marion’s Blanton House and sold at B Side Bakery & Books and Whaley Brewery Produce Stand, both in Old Fort.
