On behalf of the Historic Carson House, we would like to invite you to help us spread the word about our 1st Annual Christmas in July Market, taking place on Saturday, July 11, from 10:00 a.m. until 3:00 p.m.
As one of McDowell County's historic treasures, the Carson House is committed to creating community events that bring visitors to our area, support local businesses and artisans, and encourage families to experience our rich history. We are excited to launch what we hope will become a new annual tradition for our county.
The event will feature local vendors, Christmas shopping, food, free children's face painting, photos with Santa's Elf (while Santa enjoys his summer vacation!), raffles, and plenty of family-friendly fun—all set against the beautiful backdrop of the Historic Carson House.
