Three dimensional mosaics and mosaics that come in contact with outdoor weather and/or water require different adhesives and different pre-mosaic preparation than indoor/temperature-controlled mosaics.
Let’s learn the the dos and the don’ts while making a flower pot/planter.
This is a half day class. Students will learn why proper surface preparation is essential if your mosaic will come in contact with water or outdoor weather and will learn the materials needed to ensure your outdoor mosaic success while at the same time, learning the challenges presented by making a three dimensional mosaic.
This is considered an intermediate class, although no experience is necessary. Having taken the full day beginner class is helpful.
Teens 16+ are welcome to enroll.
