bside is a small, independently-owned bookshop in Old Fort, NC, and the retail side of PJ's breadworks, a bakery opened here in 2024. They have a small collection of new curated books including nonfiction, fiction, science fiction-fantasy, science and nature, plays, books on the science of bread-baking, and more. They also sell many types of fresh bread, local market goods and a small grocery with local produce, non-alcoholic beverages and zero-proof drink spirits and ingredients.
