Buck Creek Trout Farm

The catch-out pond is a wonderful place for family fun and group outings. Fishing poles, bait, and ice provided. Any age or skill level. No fishing license is required. Trout cleaned for a small fee, or facilities available to clean your own. Covered pavillion picnic area beside the creek. Groups of 10 or more, call ahead for reservations.

Stop by the Buck Creek Country Store (Wednesday through Saturday 10:00 am to 6:00 pm and Sunday 12:00 until 6:00pm) to pick up locally baked goodies, arts and crafts, souvenirs and more.

Applewood smoked trout is available to take home. Call for availability and pricing.

Located off NC Hwy. 80, between Marion and Burnsville, NC.  From I-40/Exit 73/Old Fort - Drive North on Catawba Avenue to US Hwy. 70. Turn right onto US Hwy. 70 East approximately 8 miles to NC Hwy. 80.  At stoplight, turn left onto NC 80. Buck Creek Trout Farm is a few miles on the left.
