Tuesdays 6-7:15pm | March 24th - April 28th Investment: $175/ 6-week series Join Ashley for a six week journey into the art of vinyasa yoga. Learn key concepts in yoga, build a strong foundation of asanas (postures), and discover the heart of yoga. This series is for those who have never practiced yoga before, as well as students who wish to strengthen and deepen their practice. Once completed, you will have the knowledge and ability to walk into any yoga class with confidence. What you’ll learn: -What vinyasa yoga is and why it is so unique. -The importance of breath, different breathing techniques, and how to link breath to movement (vinyasa). -The foundational concepts of most often used yoga postures, as well as the energetics of each posture. -Ways in which postures can be modified, or amplified, to best fit your body and breath. -Different bandhas, or energetic locks, and how to use them in your practice. -The yamas and niyamas: what they are and how they relate to yoga practice. -Meditation: both in stillness, and in movement. Your teacher: Ashley has been practicing yoga since 2007, and teaching vinyasa yoga since 2012. She loves helping people get out of the thinking mind and into the moving, feeling, breathing body. Every body is a yoga body, and she would love to help reveal the yogi within you!
