Spring Egg Hunt on the Peavine Trail.

We are excited to announce the 2nd Annual Spring Egg Hunt on the Peavine Trail! Join us on March 28, 2026, from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the State Street Trailhead (200 State Street, Marion, NC). Bring the kiddos out for an afternoon of fun, we’ve increased the egg count to 1,000 eggs this year! That’s right… even more excitement for everyone to enjoy. And that’s not all, the Easter Bunny will be hopping by to visit all the wonderful young ones, handing out candy and posing for photos! This year, our amazing partners are helping make this event even more fun and memorable for everyone! Give a shout out to Foothills Food Hub, McDowell Access to Care and Health, YMCA of WNC Community Health, NC Cooperative Extension- McDowell County Center, McDowell Arts Council Association, and McDowell County Head Start.
