The Daughters of the American Revolution (DAR) is hosting a Constitution Week
program on the Courthouse Steps at 4:00 PM on Saturday, September 19th. This will
also serve as an America 250 event.
To commemorate the occasion, some members will be dressed in colonial attire, and we
will conclude the program by ringing bells to remember the church bells that rang when
the Constitution was first read. Additionally, we are honored to have the following
participants:
• Sons of the American Revolution (Colonel Alexander Erwin Chapter): Presenting the
colors.
• Judge Loto Greenlee: Presiding over the program.
