America 250: Local Patriot Celebration at the Historic Carson House

Join the Historic Carson House on Sunday, September 27th at 2:00 PM as we honor the local American Patriots who fought at the Battle of Kings Mountain.

The afternoon will begin at 2:00 PM with open tours of the Captain William Moore Revolutionary War Cabin, opportunities to meet local authors, and photo opportunities with special guests in period costume, including Captain John Carson, Mary Moffett McDowell Carson, and General Daniel Morgan.

The formal program will begin promptly at 2:30 PM and will feature:

- Welcome by John Carson

- Invocation

- Presentation and Posting of the Colors

- National Anthem & Pledge of Allegiance

- Opening Remarks & Introductions
