The Good, Bad, & Ugly? with Kim

In this workshop, we will be embracing the artistic process and learn to push past the “Ugly Stages” and embrace the art of creative experimentation. We will use a variety of techniques and materials: collage, paint, textures, and unconventional mediums, to turn what you may say is "ugly" into a beautiful art piece. The goal of this workshop is to break through the perfectionism and enjoy the journey of creativity. Students should bring: A composition book, Elmer’s glue, white or clear, and an old paintbrush Materials will be supplied, but if you have favorite acrylic paint colors or favorite papers (e.g., music sheets, maps, scrapbook pages, ledger pages) that you would like to use, please bring them too.
